At AfterGlow Chorus, we’ve built a vocal ensemble for the versatile, experienced singer. We believe in a fast-paced artistic environment where musicians arrive prepared and ready to dive straight into the "soul" of the music. Whether we are locking in a complex a cappella arrangement or leaning into a massive Gospel anthem, we do it with a shared sense of joy and excellence.

Modern Classical Mastery: Navigating the powerful choral language of Adolphus Hailstork and the structural brilliance of Betty Jackson King’s "Psalm 57."
Jazz Standards & Contemporary Gospel: From the "Sacred Concert" sounds of Duke Ellington to the massive, emotive power of Richard Smallwood’s "Total Praise."
The Logistics: Our rehearsal home in Uptown Oakland is a 10-minute walk from the 19th St. BART station, making us an easy commute for singers across the East Bay and San Francisco.
