In this performance, our singers bring heartfelt intensity to every phrase — capturing both the tenderness and the strength at the core of this timeless work.
About the Concert: Wonder & Joy
Our Wonder & Joy concert was staged in Oakland earlier this year as part of a season celebrating music that uplifts and connects people across genres. Few artists embody that spirit more than Stevie Wonder, whose music moves effortlessly between soul, pop, R&B, and gospel.
The concert featured many of his best-loved works — from Love’s in Need of Love Today to Overjoyed — reimagined and performed by AfterGlow Chorus, one of the Bay Area’s most advanced choirs.
