During these difficult times, music has the ability to remind us that we all need each other more than ever. One of the uplifting songs that AfterGlow Chorus is currently rehearsing is this upbeat arrangement of the inspirational song "You're All I Need to Get By" made famous by Marvin Gaye and Tami Terrell.
Our performance will be the U.S. premier of this wonderful arrangement is by Harlano Weekes of the amazing London, UK-based vocal group CK Gospel. AfterGlow's special, memorial concerts ("Pandemic & Racism: What's Going On") are on Sunday, August 7th and Sunday, August 14th in Oakland. We will be honoring victims of both the pandemic and racism through a broad range of music that speaks to our collective souls. We hope that you will be able to join us!
