At AfterGlow, we create a "sanctuary of sound"—a space where music serves as a bridge to emotional healing. Our upcoming Summer season, "The Gift of Love," is specifically designed to provide comfort to patients, caregivers, and those navigating loss through the power of the human voice.

Professional Choral Blend and A Cappella Excellence

What does the AfterGlow "wall of sound" actually feel like? While the following video features a holiday favorite, it perfectly demonstrates the choral blend and a cappella precision we bring to every program.

Listen to the warmth of the ensemble and the tuning of the unaccompanied voices—this is the caliber of musicianship we are looking for this summer:

Summer 2026 Choir Auditions: San Francisco Bay Area

We are currently seeking versatile SATB musicians to join our roster of 40 high-caliber vocalists.

Why experienced singers choose AfterGlow:

  • ⏱️ Respect for Your Time: We trade months of slow rehearsals for a "high-octane" four-week sprint. We provide music in advance so you can master your part independently, allowing rehearsal time to focus entirely on artistry and blend.

  • 🎓 A Peer Group of Excellence: You will be singing alongside dedicated, technically proficient musicians. Many of our vocalists have studied voice and music at the collegiate or advanced level, bringing a high degree of musical literacy to the ensemble.

  • ❤️ A Purpose-Driven Mission: Beyond the technical challenge, you’ll be part of a program intended to provide genuine emotional healing to the Oakland community.
