This is it, Oakland.
After an incredible premiere last weekend, the choir is preparing for the final performance of Purple Reign. This Saturday, April 25, at 8:00 PM, we take the stage at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church one last time to honor the 10th anniversary of Prince’s passing.
If you missed our first show, this is your very last opportunity to experience this high-energy, soulful celebration of a musical icon.
Experience the Power of the Choir
To hear the incredible energy and technical precision you’ll experience this Saturday, watch the choir perform "The Word Was God" from our recent December concert. This piece highlights the "wall of sound" and vocal mastery that we are bringing to the music of Prince in just 48 hours.
A Night to Remember in Uptown Oakland
Saturday night at Lake Merritt is the perfect backdrop for this program. We’ve combined the unmatched technical precision of the choir with the raw, funky, and emotional spirit of Prince.
What you’ll hear at the finale:
Iconic Prince: Reimagined vocal arrangements of “Purple Rain,” “7,” and “When Doves Cry.”
Soulful Mastery: The soaring, architectural beauty of Richard Smallwood’s “Total Praise.”
Powerful Spirituals: High-octane performances like the one seen in the video above that fill the entire sanctuary.
"Most Fun I've Had in Ages"
The feedback from our first performance has been electric. One attendee summed up the vibe perfectly:
"The music was so moving and the energy was so high that I found myself completely swept up in it. It’s rare to find a group that sounds this professional while still making the audience feel like they're part of one big celebration."
Final Tickets – Saturday Night Only
This is our last performance of the season. Tickets for the Saturday evening show are moving fast, and we expect a full house for our final tribute.
FINAL PERFORMANCE: Saturday, April 25 @ 8:00 PM
